Press Start, then remember the squares that light up.
How to play
Goal
Remember which squares light up, then tap them all.
How it works
- Press Start. Some squares glow for a moment, then go dark.
- Tap every square that glowed, in any order. Correct taps turn peach.
- Find them all to move up a level: one more square lights up each level, and the grid grows as you go.
- A wrong tap ends the round and shows the squares you missed. You have three tries per game.
Tips
- Don't try to memorise squares one by one. See the whole pattern as a shape, like a letter or a constellation.
- Split bigger patterns into two or three small clusters.
- Take a breath before each round. There's no timer while you tap.
The history of Grid Recall
Tasks like this are used by psychologists to measure visual and spatial working memory: how much a person can hold in mind for a few seconds. Most adults can hold around five to nine items, and practice helps you use clever patterns to remember more.
